Did Jesus ask for directions into town? Or did he just know?
It feels safe to have a co-pilot, a navigator who can say ‘turn here’ and we turn without question. It’s riskier to travel alone, making our own decisions on where to turn. I think life is a combination of the two scenarios; sometimes going alone, sometimes deciding with another as our journey is a shared one.
Is it really shared? Or are we just making the same lane change as someone else? I like to think it can be shared, up to a point. What we don’t know is how it impacts the others’ journey.
Through both of these circumstances, though, our journey is shared with the sacred one.
